Financial Planning Institute of South Africa The Financial Planning Institute (FPI) is the authorising body for the SCI Fund Focus event. The amount of CPD points/hours are subject to approval based on the finalised agenda. CPD points and CPD hours are interchangeable and mean the same thing in an FPI and FSCA context. The organisers of the SCI Fund Focus event will provide delegates with CPD Certificates post event based on verified attendance in order for them to register their points with the relevant industry body. Please ensure that you are familiar with the rules relating to BN194 of 2017 as this falls within the obligation of FSPs, key individuals and representatives.

By registering to attend SCI Fund Focus in-person event, you acknowledge that this event is taking place within an environment that the transmission of Covid-19 is a possibility. SCI Fund Focus nor its organisers (The Collaborative Exchange) shall be held responsible for the transmission of Covid-19. The organisers will take all safety precautions as required by South African law to minimise the potential impact of the spreading of Covid-19, but this cannot be guaranteed.
